Our preschool curriculum teaches sorting, matching, colors, space perception, counting, sequencing, shapes, recognizing name in print. Fine motor skills such as balance, hopping and self help skills such as buttoning, snapping, zipping. These skills are reinforced through play, activities and daily routine.

PRE-K

Our Pre-K program teaches Classifying, space perception, awareness of precision, opposites, printing of name, letters and numbers, language development, learning address, phone number. Fine motor skills such as pencil grasp, tracing, drawing and large motor skills such as balance, catching. Self help skills, dressing without help, washing hands, shoes on correct feet, manners.

Both our Preschool and Pre-K programs have a theme each week. Our teacher directed time at circle concentrates on the current letter/number/shape/color of the week with stories, show and tell, songs and activity projects that relate to the subject of the week.

SCHOOL-AGE PROGRAM

September - June

We offer a full range of after school activities for children up to 14 years old. Children from the Greenmont and Lakeview Jr. High are allowed to take the bus to us. Arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor sports as well as homework supervision and snacks in the afternoon are all part of our program for kids who are with us after school.

SUMMER PROGRAM

Late June - Labor Day

Once school is out, come to the Nest for our DAY CAMP PROGRAM. Our facility includes a swimming pool and sports gym. All activities are divided into age appropriate groups throughout the day and are always supervised by members of our highly qualified staff at all times.
